Albermarle Estate
All luxury here. After going through two gates you are greeted outdoors by one of the staff to help you with your bags and check you in. This last visit was our second time staying here and we received an upgraded room along with our favorite Trump wine with a hand written note that they remembered we enjoy it last year. We have stayed in one of their king rooms which was stunning, comfortable and clean but this time we got to enjoy their best suite. Two bathrooms, enormous bedroom with high ceilings, a steam shower and a clawfoot tub. Honestly, I have not been anywhere more luxurious.
The costs per night for the luxury you receive is worth every penny. Rooms can range depending on the time of year $450 - $650 per night. They also offer a beautiful, private cabin off to the side with amazing views, and two beds. The estate is pet friendly as well but I would ask first.
The Albermarle Estate welcomes all their visitors with perfect excellence. They are a beautiful pool table, card table, scrabble board, jacuzzi and an outdoor pool. Plenty of space to walk around and have quiet time with your loved one.
Dinner is always of the highest standards, perfect flavors with many choices. You pick the time you will want dinner and you never have to wait for a table. I have never found the menu online but we have never been disappointed. If you like yummy food and great wine you will not be unhappy picking Albemarle for your dinner choice.
Breakfast in the front room can get sunny and warm if you pick the window seat but its a lovely view with the sun rising.
Walking the grounds which is also connected to the winery is very expansive and a great workout! Highly recommend a morning or afternoon walk.
The estate also offers weddings which I now regret not having ours there.
Don’t forget to visit downtown Charlottesville while you are there. E. Main Street has lots of shops and restaurants to pick from.
